Job summary

Eco Outdoor seeks a Head of Finance, USA to lead the finance function from Beverly Hills, CA. You will guide a small US team, own financial reporting, and partner with Sydney and US leadership to drive growth and profitability.

You’ll manage budgeting, audits, tax compliance across 15+ states, and cash flow, while improving data, systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and vendor value. Hybrid role with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent required.
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in finance.
• Senior finance experience in a small/mid-sized, fast-growing business.
• Proven ability to build and develop teams.
• Genuine interest in data, systems and continuous improvement.
• Experience in inventory-based business highly regarded.
• We require full permanent working rights for this position.

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting and month-end close for the US business.
• Lead us through the first external audit at year-end.
• Ensure compliance across multi-state sales tax and payroll.
• Manage external accountants and advisors.
• Bring expertise in inventory, landed costs and margins.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning as we expand.
• Oversee banking, treasury and cash flow, including FX exposure.
• Partner with US leadership to turn numbers into decisions.
• Develop the US finance team and improve data/systems.
