Job summary

Bedrock Energy is seeking an experienced Head of Field Operations to own end-to-end delivery of professional, commercial-scale geothermal construction projects. You will lead Operations Engineering, Field Operations, Reliability Engineering, and Deployment Operations, building repeatable playbooks and scalable teams for a growing fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience leading a high-performance drilling/field operations team.
• Track record of building playbooks, systems, and organizations from scratch.
• Ability to credibly lead Operations Engineering and Reliability Engineering teams.
• Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude for a start-up environment with hands-on ownership.
• Strong PM and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication to cross-functional audiences.
• Commitment to diversity and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Design an organization that can scale across multiple sites and professional operations.
• Design and test robust processes for efficient cross-site communication and collaboration.
• Own recruiting, training, onboarding, and scaling of fleet operations.
• Set and protect execution quality, fostering first-principles thinking.
• Lead the Operations Engineering team in drilling program design, planning, and execution oversight.
• Lead the Reliability Engineering team in fleet asset ownership and maintenance strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Finance to improve project margins.
• Oversee deployment operations including permitting, procurement, and reporting.
