Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will oversee Operations Engineering and Reliability Engineering, drive margin improvement, and foster a collaborative culture across product, strategy, and finance to advance Bedrock's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years leading a high-performance team in drilling, subsurface construction, or related field operations.
• Track record of building playbooks, systems, and organizations with little prior scaffolding.
• Ability to credibly lead both Operations and Reliability Engineering with senior technical support.

Responsibilities

• Design an organization that can scale while executing professional construction operations across multiple sites.
• Design, test, and roll out robust processes for efficient, cross-site communication and collaboration.
• Own team recruiting, training, onboarding engine to support fleet expansion with high quality.
• Set and protect the execution quality bar; promote first-principles thinking and challenging status quo.
• Own team adherence to safety programs, regulatory compliance, and Engineering guidance.
• Lead Operations Engineering in drilling program design, planning, and execution oversight.
• Lead Reliability Engineering in fleet asset ownership and maintenance strategy.
• Partner with technology teams to test and deploy new digital telemetry and automation tech.
