Job summary

Braintrust is seeking a Head of Field Marketing to own and grow our events program. You’ll engage with customers and prospects, nurture communities, and design thoughtful experiences that connect technical audiences with business outcomes.

You’ll lead strategy, partner with Sales and external vendors, and scale programs from intimate technical workshops to large gatherings, ensuring quality and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Hospitality mindset and guest-centric approach to events.
• Experience building field marketing programs for devtool or infrastructure audiences.
• Ability to translate audience needs into effective event programs and partnerships.
• Experience collaborating with Sales to drive pipeline through events and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Get to know customers and prospects; tailor programs they want to be part of.
• Invest in local communities; build relationships with organizers and leaders.
• Define where Braintrust shows up and what formats to use for each audience.
• Own end-to-end event experience from invite to wrap-up, including venue, food, and greetings.
• Collaborate with Sales to align accounts, territories, and follow-up activities.
• Partner with companies to bring meaningful co-presented experiences.
• Manage budgets, agencies, and vendors with clear expectations.
• Track program impact on accounts and pipeline; iterate accordingly.
• Build a team and rhythm to scale while preserving quality.
