Job summary

Assail Federal is seeking a Vice President of Growth to own our growth strategy, from identifying mission requirements to funded deployments and program expansions. You will report to the CEO, align technology with customer priorities, build the growth team, and guide capture, proposals and partnerships to deliver measurable value.

• Experience winning defense or national security contracts involving complex technology.
• Ability to own opportunities across business development, capture, and proposals.
• Understanding of budgets, funding decisions, and acquisition processes.
• Proven track record turning demonstrations into funded adoption.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy across defense customers with bookings targets and resource plans.
• Build relationships with mission owners, program offices, and funding stakeholders.
• Identify mission requirements and connect them to Reaper capabilities.
• Lead capture strategy, teaming decisions, and bid/no-bid recommendations.
• Oversee proposals, pricing, and contract contributions for compliant submissions.
• Develop partnerships with primes, defense tech companies, and research orgs.
• Forecast budgets and keep CEO informed on risks and investments.
