Stanbridge University seeks a Manager of Faculty Development to lead the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) and oversee faculty development programs, onboarding, coaching, and teaching support across on-campus, hybrid, online, and clinical settings.

You will collaborate with Academic Affairs to advance evidence-based teaching, adult learning theory, and the ethical use of AI in higher education, while ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements and institutional

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education, Higher Education, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated experience managing faculty development programs, instructional coaching, professional development, educational training, or instructional support services.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and adult learning theory (andragogy).
• Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, assessment strategies, and learning outcomes alignment.
• Experience facilitating workshops, presentations, and professional learning experiences.
• Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and academic leadership across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee annual faculty development plans aligned with Academic Affairs priorities, accreditation requirements, and student success initiatives.
• Manage daily operations of the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL).
• Coordinate faculty development programs, workshops, learning communities, and special initiatives across the University.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs leadership to implement faculty development priorities and support instructional excellence.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend operational improvements that enhance faculty success and teaching quality.
• Coordinate onboarding program for new faculty; develop onboarding materials and resources.
• Provide training on instructional technologies, teaching expectations, classroom management, assessment practices, and student engagement strategies.
• Lead faculty development initiatives focused on AI and emerging educational technologies; promote responsible AI practices.
• Monitor participation and evaluate impact using feedback and student success metrics.
