Job summary

AOM Health Care is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to oversee the Maintenance Department, ensuring safe and comfortable facilities, compliance with regulations, and leadership in safety programs. This role directs building systems, grounds, and related operations, with emphasis on continuous improvement and team leadership.

The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with Executive Director and facility staff to uphold core values and high-quality care

Qualifications

• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
• Provide facility-wide training on safety issues as requested.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Maintenance Department operations and attainment of safety goals.
• Schedule, conduct and document fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate outside contractors and ensure contract/work order compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance and submit reports as requested.
• Participate in facility safety/infection control/quality improvement meetings.
