Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead operations, maintenance, and capital projects for college buildings and grounds in Santa Barbara, CA. The role oversees custodial, maintenance, construction and repair activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant facilities support for the campus community.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration or related field.
• Five years of increasingly responsible experience in construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
• Two years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, control and direct operations and activities involved in the inspection, cleaning, construction, maintenance and repair of College District buildings, facilities, grounds and equipment.
• Coordinate personnel, projects and resources to meet College District needs and assure smooth and efficient departmental activities.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; interview and select employees and manage transfers, reassignments and disciplinary actions.
• Plan and implement cleaning, maintenance and repair projects; monitor progress and ensure compliance with standards.
