True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a large, automated personal care production campus in Bedford Park, IL.

You will own facility systems and infrastructure, bring dedicated engineering leadership, and ensure reliable operation of manufacturing processes. The role requires hands-on management of HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution, and wastewater treatment, plus steering capital projects, budgeting, and contractor coordination.

Qualificações

• BS/BA in Engineering or Facilities Management or equivalent; 5+ years of facilities leadership in manufacturing.
• 7+ years of plant/facilities management experience in manufacturing.
• Must come from manufacturing.
• Hands-on HVAC, boiler, and electrical distribution experience.
• Proven track record managing multi-trade contractors.
• Strong PM skills: budgeting, scheduling, contractor coordination.
• Stationary Engineer license preferred.
• Strong communicator across departments and diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee facility functions including HVAC, boilers, stationary engineering, building maintenance, and related systems
• Manage on-site contractors across trades to meet facility standards, timelines, and safety
• Manage on-site wastewater treatment systems and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and oversee capital project budgets, scopes, and schedules for infrastructure upgrades and facility improvements
• Ensure adherence to codes, OSHA requirements, and safety standards throughout the facility
• Identify facility improvement opportunities and lead implementation from concept through completion
