Job summary

Gartner, Inc. seeks a Manager of Event Technology & AV Operations to lead planning, execution, and ongoing improvement of AV across Gartner Executive Programs events.

You will own end-to-end delivery, manage vendors and labor, and ensure high-quality attendee experiences at multiple events. You will lead AV project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets and logistics, and provide onsite leadership during critical event phases from setup to strike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years in event operations, AV production, or related field.
• Experience leading vendors, contractors, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing event budgets, labor planning, logistics, and operational resources.
• Strong project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Event Technology Operations: Own end-to-end delivery of AV and event tech services across multiple events.
• Manage Teams & Resources: Train and develop AV Project Managers, freelancers, vendors, and labor partners.
• Oversee Budgets, Vendors & Logistics: Manage vendor relationships, labor planning, equipment logistics, inventory, and budgets.
• Drive Operational Planning & Process Improvement: Develop execution plans, timelines, and scalable processes.
• Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Conference Managers, Directors, Content teams, Production teams, hotels, vendors.
• Provide Onsite Leadership: Serve as operational lead during setup, rehearsals, live delivery, and strike.
