Job summary

OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC is seeking a Manager, Event Security to oversee security operations for Honda Center and OC venues in California. You will plan, implement security strategies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role leads security personnel, coordinates with promoters, law enforcement, and NHL representatives (if applicable), and conducts pre-event assessments and post-event debriefs to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event security or venue security.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role within security/public safety.
• Experience with law enforcement, emergency responders and related departments.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations for events to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Plan, implement, and oversee security strategies based on event needs.
• Manage security personnel including hiring, training, scheduling and performance.
• Coordinate with promoters, touring personnel, and NHL representatives as applicable.
• Ensure staffing with appropriate public safety personnel for events.
• Lead post-event debriefs and document incident reports for improvements.
• Maintain incident logs and coordinate with internal stakeholders for safety.
• Collaborate with Guest Services, Operations and Risk Management to ensure guest experience.
