Job summary

Sole Construction Partners seeks a seasoned Chief Estimator to lead and elevate estimating and preconstruction across its multi-entity organization. You will shape strategy, drive excellence, and mentor a high-performing team focused on residential construction.

This senior role combines technical depth with strategic vision, enabling scalable growth through standardized processes, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction estimating with leadership experience.
• Deep shell construction and/or drywall estimating expertise in residential context.
• Proficiency in estimating software and construction business systems.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.
• Process-driven mindset focused on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-company estimating organization.
• Design standardized estimating processes and best practices across affiliates.
• Oversee preparation and submission of comprehensive bid proposals.
• Review cost models, risk factors, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with operations, field leadership, and exec management on strategic pursuits.
• Lead adoption of estimating platforms (Planswift to Stack) and internal tools.
