Job summary

APS (Arizona Public Service) is seeking a Supervisor for IT Enterprise Storage & Backup to lead a team responsible for protecting and maintaining essential storage, backup, and data protection services that support APS operations.

You will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions and drive continuous improvement in incident response, recovery, and system resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fundamental understanding of I&O operations, processes, and business units.
• Knowledge of service management concepts and practical applications.
• Understanding of process improvement, performance management and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise storage, backup, and data protection services.
• Partner with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs and strategic priorities.
• Drive the successful support and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure platforms that keep business systems running smoothly.
• Guide incident response and recovery efforts, helping minimize disruption and maintain business continuity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
