Job summary

Twelve Labs, a global company enabling AI-powered video understanding, seeks a Director of Engineering, Deployment & Integrations to lead how we deploy TwelveLabs technology into customer environments and deeply integrate with their ecosystems.

You will own the engineering strategy for deployments across hyperscalers, private cloud, and on-premise systems, collaborating with Engineering and GTM teams to convert complex customer requirements into scalable deployment capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, infrastructure, or distributed systems leadership.
• Experience deploying complex software and AI/ML systems into enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
• Hands-on expertise with deployment lifecycles, versioning, rollout, and post-deployment operations.
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering strategy for deployments and integrations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead a globally distributed engineering team focused on repeatable, automated deployments.
• Partner with Product, Security, and customers to define scalable deployment patterns.
• Establish standards, tooling, and playbooks for reliable, self-service deployments.
• Turn bespoke customer initiatives into scalable platform capabilities.
