Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a strategic data leader to shape enterprise data strategy and govern data as a valuable asset. You will set vision, operating model, and investment roadmap, guiding data products, governance, lineage, and enablement across the organization.

You will partner with AI Platform, Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Privacy, Cloud Engineering, and business leaders to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise data strategy, data governance, analytics, technology transformation, digital innovation, or related initiatives.
• 6+ years in a leadership role managing teams, partners, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise data strategy, vision, principles, and target operating model.
• Translate strategic priorities into a sequenced portfolio of data capabilities, products, and services.
• Own the enterprise data platform roadmap and investment narrative.
• Establish the data platform as an enterprise product with stakeholder-driven UX and adoption.
• Create and mature the enterprise data governance model with data quality and lifecycle management.
• Partner with business leaders to identify high-value data opportunities and embed data into processes.
• Shape strategies for trusted, reusable data products and shared capabilities for analytics and AI.
• Provide oversight of architecture, sourcing, vendor, and technology decisions.
• Lead executive forums and communications on data priorities, progress, risks, and decisions.
• Own annual business planning, budgeting, and benefits realization for the data platform.
• Develop leaders, coach talent, and foster data fluency and accountability.
• Represent Phillips 66 in industry forums and thought leadership activities.
