Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Advisor II, Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines for refinery and midstream data. You will play a key role in turning industrial data into analytics-ready assets for reporting and optimization.

You’ll work with modern cloud data platforms, implement governance and security, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data products across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and work eligibility in the U.S.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical role
• 2+ years of experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data solutions
• 1+ years of hands-on DevOps (source control, CI/CD, deployment automation, multi-environment support)
• SQL proficiency and one language (Python/Scala/Java)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
• Ingest and process data from PI sources and other datasets.
• Develop curated data assets and datasets for reporting, analytics, and optimization.
• Apply DevOps practices across development, test, and production environments.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs and data delivery.
