Job summary

enGen is seeking a seasoned leader to head its Enterprise Data Protection program. You will guide data security architecture, DLP, data classification, and file/database activity monitoring, translating complex risks into executive decisions and strategic priorities.

You will partner with security, cloud, privacy, legal, and business teams to mature the program, drive technology strategy, ensure operational execution, and continuously improve enterprise data protection services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field
• 7-10 years in Information Security and/or Information Risk Management and/or IT
• 1-3 years in mentoring others in a leadership role
• 1-3 years in Staff Management
• Experience developing and executing strategic plans to realize business objectives
• Experience implementing and managing data security technologies including DLP, encryption, key management, and file activity monitoring

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring decisions, coaching, rewards, performance management
• Organize department operations, policies, and programs; budgetary responsibilities possible
• Oversee project management processes, security solutions, and risk management
• Lead organizational change and promote information security innovation
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures
• Communicate with all levels; prepare reports and presentations; manage budgets and resources
• Perform other duties as assigned
