Job summary

enGen is seeking a Principal Information Security Architect - Data Security to lead enterprise data security architectures, enabling secure data platforms, analytics environments, and data movement across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role drives encryption, key management, tokenization, data masking, DLP, and data classification while adopting Zero Trust principles and data‑centric security controls. Strong leadership and collaboration with senior tech executives are required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of information security experience.
• 4 years as Information Security Architect with expertise in zero trust, data protection, identity & access mgmt., threat mgmt., etc.
• 3 years experience with data management, query processing, distributed processing, high availability, ML, and production systems operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems and component architectures and APIs that meet the test of time.
• Articulate architectural principles and evangelize designs across engineering, architecture and product teams.
• Mentor enterprise architects and engineers on technology strategy and design patterns.
• Collaborate with security, developers, product managers and executives to drive architecture strategy and documents.
• Promote secure design principles and scalable, reliable cloud/on‑premise applications.
