Job summary

enGen seeks a seasoned leader to drive its Enterprise Data Protection program, overseeing DLP, data classification, encryption, and policy development. You will direct a multidisciplinary team and align technology strategy with business risk and objectives.

The role requires deep security architecture knowledge, executive communication, and experience guiding large-scale data protection initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments. Office-based in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, information systems, information assurance, computer science or related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience substitution for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree in CS or information security preferred.
• 7–10 years in information security/risk management or IT.
• Experience communicating security concepts to varied audiences.
• 1–3 years mentoring and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise data protection programs across DLP, data encryption, and rights management.
• Translate complex security concepts into business risk and executive decisions.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including analysts, architects and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee program maturity, technology strategy, and budget/resource planning.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, privacy, legal, and business teams.
