Job summary

Ubique Group in Canton, GA is seeking a Director of Data Services to own the data platforms, governance, and integrations driving the enterprise data strategy. This hands-on leadership role reports to the CIO and will diagnose failed data processes and set the course for data delivery across the organization.

You will lead the data engineering team, optimize observability, and govern sources of truth with a focus on Snowflake, Tableau Cloud, Boomi, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Salsify.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, BI, or enterprise integration.
• 3+ years leading a team.
• Deep hands-on Snowflake experience with design, performance & cost management.
• Strong SQL with ability to diagnose broken pipelines.
• Production experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms.
• Knowledge of EDI in retail/wholesale and impact of failures.
• Hands-on Tableau development and admin experience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce & NetSuite data models.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year enterprise data strategy, governance model.
• Own health, cost, roadmap, and access model for Snowflake, Tableau Cloud, Boomi, SPS Commerce, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Salsify.
• Serve as escalation point for data issues; drive root-cause analysis and observability.
• Own runbooks and cross-functional training for teams to handle transmission failures.
• Maximize Tableau investment and deliver reporting backlog across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, People & Culture, and Customer Care; own reporting hierarchy.
• Support enterprise programs with data workstreams (Shopify migration, WMS, freight).
• Manage data & integration vendor portfolio and budget; lead data engineering team.
