Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Florida seeks a Corporate Manager, Enterprise Data Engineer to lead the design, development and reliability of our enterprise data platform during a period of growth. This hands-on leadership role focuses on scalable data pipelines, Snowflake administration, Azure Data Factory, data quality, and governance, enabling analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, or cloud data platforms.
• 2+ years in a technical lead, senior engineer, or similar role on enterprise projects.
• Strong Snowflake administration and SQL development experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or equivalent tools.
• Experience with cloud data architecture, API integrations, version control, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader for enterprise data engineering initiatives.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ingestion and orchestration workflows.
• Administer and optimize Snowflake environments (databases, warehouses, roles, costs).
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and data movement processes.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and failure-recovery for critical pipelines.
• Build data quality controls, source-to-target validation, and documentation.
• Support integrations with enterprise apps, APIs, and cloud services.
• Follow change management, release and CI/CD processes for production pipelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize data engineering processes.
