Job summary

Ubique Group in Canton, GA seeks a Director of Data Services to own the enterprise data strategy and governance, setting the vision and steering the data platform.

You will steward Snowflake, Tableau Cloud, Boomi, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Salsify, owning runbooks, cost, access, and performance while mentoring the data engineering team.

This senior role partners with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver trusted reporting, resolve data issues, and enable data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, BI, or enterprise integration with 3+ years leading a team.
• Hands-on with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake strongly preferred), including design, performance, and cost management.
• Strong SQL, able to open a broken pipeline and find the defect yourself.
• Production experience with an enterprise integration platform (Boomi preferred; MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar considered).
• Working knowledge of EDI in a retail or wholesale context (850, 856, 810) and the operational consequences when a document fails.
• Hands-on Tableau experience covering both development and site or server administration.
• Familiarity with the data models of a major CRM and ERP (Salesforce and NetSuite ideal).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year enterprise data strategy and governance model.
• Own the health, cost, roadmap, and access model of every platform housing enterprise data.
• Serve as senior escalation point for data issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Own runbooks and cross-functional training for handling transmission failures.
• Maximize Tableau investment and deliver reporting backlog across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, People & Culture, and Customer Care.
• Support Shopify migration and WMS/freight initiatives.
• Manage data and integration vendor portfolio and lead the data engineering team.
