Job summary

Relias is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data Governance & Master Data Management to establish and lead Relias' enterprise-wide data governance, MDM, and business information strategy. Reporting to the CFO organization, this role will own data definitions, stewardship, quality, ownership, and governance across domains.

The Director will partner with Privacy Operations, Legal, Information Security, Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, HR, and Procurement

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data governance, MDM, or related disciplines.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-scale governance programs.
• Ability to align business and technology stakeholders around common metrics and data standards.
• Experience supporting privacy, DSAR, and regulatory data lifecycle programs.
• Strong communication and program-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Relias's data governance operating model and stewardship framework.
• Lead governance councils and establish ownership structures across domains.
• Develop enterprise data definitions, glossary, and semantic layer for reporting.
• Oversee master data management across key domain hierarchies (Customer, Account, Learner, etc.).
• Partner with Privacy Operations, Legal, IT, and Product to align privacy and DSAR workflows.
• Drive data quality standards, cataloging, lineage, and governance controls.
