Job summary

SES seeks a strategic Head of Business Continuity Management to lead the enterprise BCM framework, governance and resilience initiatives. This senior role combines policy leadership with hands-on execution to ensure recovery capabilities across SES operations, satellite services, infrastructure and suppliers.

You will partner with senior leaders to align continuity with risk, regulatory, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Risk Management, Information Technology, Security, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational resilience, BCM, disaster recovery, crisis management, and risk management frameworks.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and operational resilience requirements applicable to critical infrastructure and global service providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the company-wide BCM strategy, framework, policies and standards.
• Establish governance, roles, responsibilities and decision-making structures.
• Embed BCM into business planning, risk management, transformation initiatives and decision-making.
• Lead assessment of BCM capabilities across SES units and functions.
• Create a multi-year BCM implementation roadmap aligned to SES strategy.
• Define BCM initiatives based on impact, risk, obligations and importance.
• Drive BCM roadmap execution and cross-functional alignment.
• Translate continuity requirements into operational processes and recovery plans.
• Provide executive status reporting on milestones, risks and readiness.
• Drive enterprise resilience through regulatory compliance and testing.
