Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise AI Platform to lead a cross-functional team delivering and operating AI-enabled software. This hands-on leadership role requires staying technically engaged, coaching engineers, and guiding execution across product, architecture, and operations to achieve reliable, scalable enterprise solutions.

You will grow engineering talent, raise execution speed, and implement modern practices while partnering with product and business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Experience coaching engineers, SDETs, DevOps, and support engineers.
• Willingness to stay technically engaged with codebase and tooling, including occasional hands-on contributions.
• Strong practices: clean code, CI/CD, unit testing, design patterns, refactoring, maintainability.
• Experience with agile delivery and modern engineering team workflows.
• Ability to develop associates through coaching, feedback, goal setting, and performance conversations.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Support delivery of enterprise AI platform capabilities.
• Improve engineering practices across software development, testing, DevOps, support, and operations.
• Partner with product, architecture, AI, business, and technology leaders to align goals.
• Maintain quality, security, reliability, and maintainability while moving quickly.
• Occasionally contribute hands-on to implementation, debugging, automation, or code reviews.
