Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the Enterprise AI Platform. You will lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, SDETs, DevOps, and support engineers to deliver production-grade AI-enabled software.

You will stay technically engaged, coaching engineers while driving delivery, quality, security, and reliability. This role emphasizes growing talent, influencing architecture, and accelerating ship-throughput in a fast-moving AI environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering or related technical experience.
2+ years of technical leadership, team leadership, people leadership, or engineering management experience.
Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring software engineers or related technical team members.
Ability to stay technically engaged with the codebase, architecture, and tooling, including occasional hands-on contribution.

Responsibilities

Grow engineering talent and build a high-performance team culture.
Support delivery of Enterprise AI Platform capabilities.
Improve engineering practices across development, testing, DevOps, support, and operations.
Partner with product, architecture, AI, business, and technology leaders.
Occasionally contribute hands-on to implementation, debugging, automation, or code reviews.
