Job summary

Prime Controls seeks a Manager of Engineering to lead the Engineering and VDC department, directing project execution, resources, and technical standards. The role requires collaboration with leadership, PMs, and field teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions for major automation projects.

The candidate should bring 10+ years in engineering with 5+ years in leadership, plus a PE license.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in a relevant field (e.g., industrial automation, controls, electrical or systems engineering).
• 5+ years in engineering leadership or management roles.
• Professional Engineering license that can be reciprocated to other states.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Engineering and VDC department, setting strategic direction and ensuring project execution quality.
• Provide leadership to the Controls, Electrical Engineering, and VDC teams and coordinate with PMs and Account Managers.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety requirements, and customer specifications across large-scale projects.
