Wonder is seeking a Manager, Engineering Tools & Infrastructure to be the backbone of our hardware engineering team in Boston. You will own the core software suite enabling engineers to design, document, and release complex automation products, focusing on speed, reliability, and data integrity.

You will lead architecture, workflows, and onboarding while partnering with IT Procurement to ensure uninterrupted licenses and tool access for both R&D and Manufacturing teams in a fast-paced robotics

Competenze

3+ years of experience administering CAD (Solidworks strongly preferred), PDM, and PLM software for an engineering team.
Experience configuring PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Arena, Propel).
Experience with JIRA, creating custom automations and workflows.
Familiarity with hardware product development lifecycle from prototyping to production.
Understanding of Parts vs Assemblies, 3D vs 2D CAD, and related documentation in PLM/PDM databases.
Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to create training materials for engineers.
Bonus - familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.

Mansioni

Act as architect and administrator for the core engineering suite (Solidworks, PDM, Arena, Jira) across hardware R&D and manufacturing.
Create and maintain custom workflows, automations, and templates in the core suite.
Troubleshoot error messages, vault access issues, and software bugs for the mechanical engineering team.
Enforce and improve Wonder Robotics’ documentation standards for file naming, revision control, and BOM management within the PLM system.
Perform regular maintenance of the software systems as new versions and features are released and test them with existing workflows.
Manage permissions and onboarding/offboarding for all hardware engineering users across all software platforms.
Partner with IT Procurement to co-own vendor relationships to purchase software licenses and renewals.
