Job summary

Crestview Management, LLC in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to lead and oversee all engineering operations at our facility. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, a PE is a plus, and at least seven years of progressive experience with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• PE license is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering department, including supervision of engineering staff and contractors.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineering policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and manage engineering budgets, reports, and documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
