FieldPulse in Dallas offers a hybrid leadership role steering software development from planning to release. You will align with Product to convert roadmaps into executable plans and drive cross-functional delivery across multiple teams.

You’ll mentor leaders, promote ownership, and push AI-powered innovation while delivering scalable, high-quality software aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in software development, including leadership in SaaS environments.
• Proven success partnering with Product organizations to deliver customer-facing software at scale.
• Strong understanding of Agile development principles and iterative delivery.
• Experience managing multiple engineering workstreams in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution and hands-on problem solving.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Interest in AI-driven innovation and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve the software development lifecycle from planning through release.
• Partner with Product leadership to translate roadmap priorities into engineering plans.
• Drive sprint planning, prioritization, delivery management, and cross-functional alignment.
• Help scale engineering operations, delivery systems, QA processes, and best practices.
• Remove blockers, improve velocity, and create operational clarity across teams.
• Stay hands-on when needed to stay connected to technical development.
• Mentor engineering leaders and foster ownership and accountability.
• Contribute to the company’s AI strategy and AI-powered product features.
