Job summary

ClassWallet, a leading fintech in the United States, is seeking a Director of Engineering to steer the engineering organization and deliver on our product roadmap. This is a people-first, strategic role blending hands-on technical involvement with team-building across multiple squads.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, and Operations to optimize delivery, advance AI-enabled features, and scale our platform for public funds management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale software projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies with Product and Design.
• Experience in regulated environments with security and data privacy.
• Experience shaping multi-year technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers across multiple levels.
• Translate business priorities into delivery plans with roadmaps.
• Champion AI-forward development practices and responsible tooling.
• Partner with Architecture and Operations to ensure architectural alignment.
• Drive engineering metrics like cycle time and MTTR.
