Job summary

Savvy Wealth seeks an Engineering Director, Product & AI to lead multiple engineering teams across advisor-facing AI products. You’ll own engineering strategy, execution, and org development, partnering with Product and Design to decide what to build next.

This hands-on leadership role requires guiding architecture, reviewing designs, and building leaders who can run teams independently. Based at our NYC headquarters, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to drive value and growth.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution across product lines. Partner with Product and Design to turn priorities into plans with clear commitments.
• Navigate AI-driven changes; drive adoption and upskilling across teams.
• Shape the engineering organization; define team structures and staffing needs.
• Set technical direction across teams; guide architecture and shared capabilities.
• Demonstrate best practices through reviews, prototypes, and hands-on guidance.
• Align engineering decisions with customer value and business outcomes.
• Ensure production quality with strong testing, observability, and reliability standards.
• Build and lead high-performing teams; attract top engineering talent.
