Job summary

Amazon seeks a Manager, Electrical Infrastructure Engineering to lead the North America electrical engineering organization responsible for reliability, resilience, lifecycle management, and performance of a large portfolio of critical facilities.

This role drives capital programs, preventive maintenance, power-system studies, analytics, and commissioning across hundreds of sites, translating engineering risk into strategic business decisions for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, critical infrastructure, industrial power systems, utilities, data centers, manufacturing, or similar environments.
• 5+ years of people-management experience leading senior engineers and managers.
• Experience owning large-scale electrical infrastructure, reliability, asset-lifecycle, or capital programs across multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems and maintenance.
• Experience with capital project development from business case to turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the North America Electrical Infrastructure Engineering organization across a large distributed facility portfolio.
• Own regional strategy for electrical reliability, resilience, asset lifecycle, and modernization.
• Lead capital and retrofit programs from design through commissioning and performance validation.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, asset condition assessment, and end-of-life planning for critical systems.
• Provide governance for power studies, power quality, protection, and analytics.
• Set engineering standards, construction quality, and commissioning requirements for new and existing facilities.
• Build scalable mechanisms to identify systemic risks using data and performance history.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, contractors, and service providers.
• Partner with Operations, Design, Construction, Procurement, Finance to resolve challenges at scale.
• Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing leaders; enable autonomous execution at scale.
• Represent NA Electrical Engineering to senior leadership with clear risk-based recommendations.
