Job summary

Amazon in Nashville, TN seeks a Manager of Electrical Infrastructure Engineering to lead the North America electrical engineering organization responsible for reliability, resilience, lifecycle management, and performance across a distributed portfolio of critical facilities.

This leader will own asset lifecycle strategy, capital retrofit programs, preventive maintenance, power-system studies, and analytics, while guiding senior leadership through engineering risk and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of people-management experience.
• Experience building and leading high-performing technical organizations.
• Experience owning large-scale electrical infrastructure and capital programs.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers.
• Experience communicating complex engineering and investment decisions to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the North America Electrical Infrastructure Engineering organization, including engineers, program managers, and people managers.
• Own the regional strategy for electrical reliability, asset lifecycle, and infrastructure modernization.
• Lead portfolio of capital and retrofit programs from design through commissioning and turnover.
• Own maintenance, risk assessment, and end-of-life planning across critical electrical systems.
• Provide governance for power system studies, power quality, protection, and analytics.
• Establish and improve electrical engineering standards, quality, and commissioning requirements.
• Build scalable mechanisms to identify systemic risks and prioritize interventions.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, contractors, and service providers.
