Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manager, Electrical Infrastructure Engineering to lead the North America electrical engineering organization responsible for the reliability, resilience, lifecycle management, and technical performance of a large and geographically distributed portfolio of critical facilities.

This leader will own capital programs, preventive maintenance, power-system studies, and analytics while developing strategy, managing vendors, and delivering across hundreds of operating sites in North

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of people-management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale electrical infrastructure and capital programs.
• Strong ability to communicate complex electrical and investment decisions to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the North America Electrical Infrastructure Engineering organization across multiple sites.
• Own regional strategy for electrical reliability, asset lifecycle, and modernization.
• Drive large-scale capital and retrofit programs from design through commissioning.
• Oversee maintenance strategy, asset condition, and end-of-life planning.
• Provide governance for power system studies, protection, and analytics.
• Establish standards for construction quality and commissioning.
• Build data-driven mechanisms to identify systemic risks and prioritize interventions.
• Manage relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, contractors, and service providers.
• Recruit, coach, and retain technical leaders; enable independent execution at scale.
• Represent NA Electrical Engineering to senior leadership with clear recommendations.
