Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Lead Product Manager for the Trailer Product Line. You will own the strategy and execution for turn-key edge deployments, delivering continuous off-grid uptime with minimal site infrastructure and expanding into new use cases.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales to optimize reliability, cost, and channel partnerships while shaping the pricing, packaging, and financing options for trailer solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in hardware, IoT, or connected-device products.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven history of launching and scaling hardware and embedded-systems products with strong customer intuition and technical depth.
• Knowledge of power systems (solar, batteries, PoE) and networking fundamentals (LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, WAN failover, SIM/carrier management).
• Ability to build platform and recurring-revenue business models including pricing, channel partnerships, and ROI analysis.
• Willingness to engage with installers, integrators, and customers in unwired environments to inform product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution for Verkada's Security Trailer Product line.
• Deliver the trailer platform's core promise: off-grid uptime with minimal site infrastructure; push solar, batteries, and cellular intelligence.
• Own pricing and packaging, hardware-plus-license economics, data plans, and trailer-as-a-service options.
• Grow and shape the Qualified Trailer Partner channel with Sales and Channel teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain to improve reliability, cost, and serviceability.
