Job summary

Lumen seeks a Lead Technical Product Owner to own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for Edge Fabric and Edge Infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, IT, telecom, business, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in technical product ownership, product management, software engineering, platform engineering, cloud, or networking roles.
• 5+ years serving in Technical Product Owner/Manager roles.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and manage complex backlogs.
• Experience in telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, edge computing, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Edge Fabric capabilities.
• Translate needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog based on value, risk, dependencies, capacity, and alignment.
• Make timely product decisions and clarify scope and tradeoffs for teams.
• Define success measures and ensure release readiness and handoff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business, or equivalent experience
