The International Baccalaureate Organization seeks a Head of School Systems Design for Early & Primary years in Washington, DC. You will lead the evolution of IB's learning pathways for formative years and align them with IB's educational philosophy across schools and settings.

The role requires advanced degrees and substantial experience in early/primary education, plus proficiency in data-driven planning, budgeting, and project leadership. Hybrid telework with travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field with 5 years of experience in early/primary education.
• Ph.D. in Education with 2 years of experience in early/primary education.
• 2 years of full-time teaching in early or primary years.
• School administration or leadership experience; international setting acceptable.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting student performance or school data.
• Experience in implementing curriculum, operations, or program changes.

Responsabilités

• Lead evolution of IB’s primary-level learning pathways for early years.
• Align learning, teaching and assessment across pathways.
• Develop and execute school systems strategies and policies.
• Write management reports and represent IB at external events.
• Line-manage Early and Primary Years team and oversee budgets.
