Job summary

CWBS is seeking a Lead Teacher - Curriculum to drive curriculum development and pedagogy within the IB PYP framework. The role collaborates with the senior leadership team, PYP Coordinator and teaching colleagues in upper primary years.

It is a full-time two-year contract with a teaching and learning responsibility allowance (TLR3). Candidates should have a Bachelor in Education (or PGCE), 5+ years of teaching, and a strong commitment to inclusive, high-quality pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Education or Bachelor Degree with PGCE.
• 5+ years teaching experience within a recognized educational organisation.
• Prior leadership/coaching experience within a team (desirable).
• Knowledge/experience with the IBO Primary Years Programme (desirable).
• Commitment to inclusive practices and high quality pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and pedagogy in collaboration with the PYP Coordinator and senior leaders.
• Support teaching teams to enhance student learning and day-to-day experiences.
• Ground planning, teaching and assessment within IB PYP and CWBS curriculum.
• Drive professional learning and coherence across the school.
