Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a leader to guide a team of analytical scientists through development from early stages to commercialization. You will drive analytical strategy, portfolio delivery, and talent development while collaborating across multidisciplinary CMC teams.

The role emphasizes coaching, defining development strategies, project planning, resource management, and delivery of CMC analytical activities. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of pharmaceutical development experience.
• 3 years of experience leading a team of scientists directly and cross-functionally.
• Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Analytical Scientists and shape development strategies for clinical and commercial milestones.
• Define and execute analytical development plans, resource management, budgeting, risk assessment and timely delivery of CMC activities.
• Collaborate with Drug Product Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Champion innovative approaches, digital solutions, modeling and efficient ways of working to accelerate development and productivity.
• Ensure robust, phase-appropriate analytical methods and regulatory-compliant deliverables.
