Job summary

You will drive analytical strategy, portfolio delivery, scientific excellence, and talent development while partnering with multidisciplinary CMC teams.

The role emphasizes coaching, project leadership, regulatory-compliant deliverables, and the adoption of digital approaches to accelerate development and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of pharmaceutical development experience including filing experience for novel small molecule drug products.
• 3 years of experience leading a team of scientists directly and cross-functionally.
• Strong communication skills—written, oral and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to Analytical Scientists, fostering technical growth and high performance.
• Define and execute analytical development strategies supporting clinical and commercial milestones.
• Lead analytical project planning, resource management, budgeting, risk assessment, and delivery of CMC analytical activities.
• Partner with Drug Product Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Champion innovative approaches, digital solutions, modeling, and efficient ways of working to accelerate development and improve productivity.
• Ensure robust, phase-appropriate analytical methods and regulatory-compliant deliverables.
