Job summary

Eurest in Orlando, FL is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the dining operations, supervise managers and staff, and ensure client satisfaction and cost-effective service. The role emphasizes budget control, food safety, and service excellence across cafeteria, retail, and catering activities.

The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of foodservice management, strong leadership and communication skills, P&L experience, and a ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. with 4+ years related experience.
• 5–7 years of direct foodservice operations management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food/catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation and cost controls.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ServSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Interviews, hires, and trains staff; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance.
• Prepares and manages annual budget; monitors financial performance.
• Utilizes company systems for inventory, cash reports, payroll, and reports.
• Ensures food/beverage preparation adheres to HACCP and OSHA guidelines and standards.
