Eurest in Memphis is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead all foodservice operations, ensuring client and customer satisfaction while managing costs and efficiencies. The role oversees food production, sanitation, and quality standards across retail, cafeteria, and catering services.

The position requires strong leadership, budgeting, and P&L experience, with a focus on improving service delivery and food safety compliance in a dynamic account environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field, or A.A. Degree with 4 years related experience.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operations management with inventory/purchasing control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, focus on quality, cost controls and presentation.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with multiple levels.
• Excellent financial, budgeting and computational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and standard computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Interviews, hires, trains, assigns, directs work; appraises performance; rewards/discipline.
• Prepares and manages annual budget.
• Utilizes company systems for daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, cash, payroll, etc.).
• Oversees and participates in food/beverage prep and service adhering to HACCP/OSHA guidelines.

Education

B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management

A.A. Degree + 4 years experience

5-7 years foodservice ops mgmt

Inventory & purchasing knowledge

P&L accountability or contract-managed service

Supervisory/leadership/ coaching

Strong communication skills

Financial, budgeting & accounting skills

Proficient computer skills (MS Office, email, internet)
