Job summary

Aramark in Overland Park, KS seeks a Food Service Director to lead dining operations, drive customer satisfaction and ensure budgetary performance. This high-visibility role directs menus, staffing, safety, sanitation and service standards while partnering with clients to meet their dining goals.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of leadership in food service, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a demonstrated ability to manage teams, control costs and deliver exceptional client service

Qualifications

Requires at least 4 years of experience in food service management.
Requires 1–3 years of experience in a management role.
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to develop client rapport.
Ability to maintain safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
Able to lift up to 50 lb. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize contributions and manage performance.
Oversee and manage dining operations to connect food service to client goals.
Develop and maintain SOPs for ordering, production and service.
Manage budgets, food/beverage and labor cost controls; ensure P&L accountability.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity and compliance with Operational Excellence.
