Job summary

NPR in Washington, DC is seeking a Director of Digital Insights to guide the measurement framework across our digital ecosystem, including the launch of a flagship mobile app and a refreshed video strategy.

Lead a high‑performing insights team, ensure data governance and tagging integrity, and translate complex analytics into clear, actionable strategies for executive leadership and cross‑functional partners to drive growth and audience engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading digital analytics strategy across web, mobile, and video ecosystems.
• Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and translate data into executive directives.
• Experience defining measurement frameworks and lifecycle KPIs for apps and cross‑platform video.

Responsibilities

• Architect the measurement framework for flagship app launch and video strategy.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing insights team with focus on data integrity and QC.
• Translate complex analytics into compelling narratives for executive leadership.
• Align cross‑functional partners (Product, Engineering, Content) around a data‑backed product vision.
• Govern tagging standards and data pipelines across rapid development cycles.
