Job summary

American Progress is seeking a Vice President for Digital Communications to lead the strategy and day-to-day execution of social, email, and digital campaigns across key policy initiatives and events.

You will guide a data-informed content strategy, oversee creative direction, and build a high-impact digital team focused on audience growth and rapid response storytelling. This role requires executive-level collaboration and strategic vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a digital field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in social media, email marketing, and digital strategy.
• Extensive track record building digital partnerships and creator engagement.
• Experience leading digital media campaigns on policy issues.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills.
