Job summary

Code Metal is hiring a senior product leader to capture forward-deployed engineering innovation and turn it into self-service products for customer engineers. You will own the developer experience, standardize tools, and decide what becomes a commercial product while building a roadmap with design partners. This is a remote role in the U.S.

with 25% travel and reports to the SVP, Head of Product. You will lead the product team, mentor PMs, and drive the strategy from concept to first commercial

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product, technical consulting, or solutions leadership and management.
• Track record of building tools that make delivery teams faster and turning services into repeatable commercial products.
• P&L or revenue ownership for a product line.
• Hands-on depth in agentic developer tools and AI-assisted SDLC, including enterprise adoption.
• Ability to cut through complexity to find simple, elegant product solutions.
• Product judgment to balance one-off requests with repeatable needs.
• Strong writer and presenter who communicates complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer experience and roadmaps for interfaces where engineers build, translate, verify, and review agent work.
• Standardize tools and pipelines; decide what becomes commercial product versus custom.
• Lead and mentor PMs and design; help hire growing product team.
• Collaborate with design partners and sales to package and position offerings.
• Build demos, videos, and presentations; support launches and packaging decisions.
• Ensure trust, compliance, and auditable proof throughout workflows.
• Report to the SVP, Head of Product; lead strategy and ship first version with team.
