Job summary

Michels Corporation seeks a Senior IT Manager to lead the Decision Intelligence team, turning the data platform into business value. You will guide analytics engineering, reporting, and advanced analytics to empower business decisions with trusted data.

You will advise senior leaders, own the roadmap, and drive self-service analytics while ensuring reliability and governance at scale. This senior role sits on the Enterprise Intelligence leadership team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field.
8+ years in BI, analytics, or data science related roles.
4+ years in people leadership with delivery accountability.
Experience partnering with senior leaders to translate problems into analytics.
Proven ability to prioritize roadmaps using value, feasibility, and adoption criteria.
Experience leading enterprise reporting, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and self-service enablement.
Strong understanding of modern data platforms and data governance.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the Decision Intelligence team across analytics engineering, reporting, analytics, and enablement.
Advise leaders on data and analytics opportunities to improve outcomes.
Own the decision intelligence roadmap with clear value criteria.
Establish intake, triage, and prioritization for strategic and operational needs.
Deliver trusted reports, dashboards, KPI frameworks, and executive-ready materials.
Guide analytics engineering for reusable, well-documented data assets.
Lead advanced analytics use cases like forecasting and scenario modeling.
Own critical analytics solutions from delivery to production support and governance.
Enable users via training, templates, and reusable patterns.
Set standards for metrics definitions, quality, access, and issue management.
Partner with leaders to define outcomes and value realization plans.
Measure adoption, product health, and impact to guide prioritization.
