Michels Corporation is seeking a Staff Data Product Manager to shape the enterprise data strategy and lead data products powering analytics, reporting, and AI across the organization. You will guide the data platform's evolution, balancing early wins with governance, scalability, and long-term durability.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, define data products, and ensure self-service access to trusted data for enterprise consumption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, a quantitative field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in data product management, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver data products on a scalable cloud data platform for enterprise consumption.
• Proven experience defining product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and success metrics while guiding products or platforms through the full lifecycle from discovery through adoption.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts including data governance, metadata, data quality, data lineage, and the principles required to build trusted and reusable enterprise data assets.
• Exposure to leading cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders across business and technology to surface pain points and identify data-driven improvements.
• Prioritize high-value opportunities to maximize business value as the platform is established.
• Define curated data products, including tables and semantic models across domains.
• Translate business needs into stories and acceptance criteria, guiding engineering through development and delivery.
• Uphold quality and consistency so data assets are documented, dependable, and self-serve.
• Measure adoption and outcomes to validate value and guide future work.
