Alsym Energy Inc. is seeking a Head of R&D Data Systems to own the lab data platform (LIMS) and related data ecosystem.

You will lead the data team, set technical direction, and work with scientists, operations, IT and executives to record materials, cells and test results across R&D. The role requires deep relational data modeling, experience with AI-assisted development, and a track record of delivering critical software used daily in a scientific setting.

Formación

• 8+ years building and operating production software with end-to-end scope.
• 3+ years leading a team or owning a system.
• Proven track record shipping dependable software used daily.

Responsabilidades

• Own architecture, roadmap and delivery of the data platform (LIMS, API, DB, integrations).
• Define data model for materials, inventory, recipes, process steps, equipment and test results.
• Set engineering practices: version control, testing, CI/CD, security review, AI-assisted development.
• Partner with scientists, operations, quality, IT and executives to gather requirements and roll out workflows.
• Lead, mentor and grow the data team; report progress and priorities to leadership.
